What made you join Bakrebazi (Goat industry)?
Earlier I was very much interested in goats and use to visit Deonar Bakra Mandi almost 2 months prior. Later after Eid i used to get low coz i used to spend too time with the goats. In 2014, my parents handed me an amount and told me to buy the goat to keep but due to lack of knowledge i ended up losing that goat kid in 10 days. After this incident i used to watch videos of goats on FB and YouTube and while surfing for goats on FB i ended up interacting with one of the goat farm owners whose farm was in Mumbai. I had a good interaction with him and later joined Whatsapp groups. After joining Whatsapp groups, I came across Mr. Imtiyaz Nadkar (Allied Goat Farm & Agro) and purchased one Hansa Goat kid. Unfortunately the Hansa kid that arrived was in PPR so that kid passed away within 10 days of arrival. But Mr. Imtiyaz Nadkar was so good that he refunded me the total amount of the goat plus the money I spent on the treatment of that goat. This is the point when I realised that this business has many honest people and i must get in to it, this is the business in which I can at least earn some respect as also money and fame.
Which year did you start raising goats?

When did you start trading goats?
In 2015 that one complete year i did not trade any goat. i gave myself one year to study how trading takes place and how to attract customers. By the end of 2015, i sold the pair of Bannur baby sheep at 12k (pair).
Why should consumers buy goats from traders? Won't it be cheaper for them to directly buy from breeders and farmers?
Buying Goats FromTraders gives you the following:
》 At low margin, most goats are sold.
》 Traders like me purchase goats for sale wisely and we highly purchase only those goats in which our investment is less and the goat Healthy and active.
》Traders like me don’t like to keep goats for long duration especially me believe in giving goats to n user at the cheapest possible rate.
》 Purchasing Goats From Traders gives less risk of fraud to the n user.
》Trader who trades goat s in regular basis sells the goat at lowest margin.
5. What is the average profit that a trader makes on sale of each goat?
Profit depends on trader to trader.Talking about me i have even worked on min 100 Rupees profit and max Rs 2500.
6. Which goat breed fetches the highest price in India?
For now people are running behind Kota Breed so Kota for now is trending, however during the Eid season, one can earn good profit in Sojat/Sirohi/Gujri breeds. Talking about Sirohi, its Cost price is less and farm/trader can good profit on this breed.
Is there any institute in India that trains people on goat farming?
I am unaware of institute but yes seminars are conducted by by highly professional goat farmers and government courses are there for veterinary.
What is the biggest challenge in trading goats online? How do you overcome such challenges?
There is no challenge in trading if you are loyal and trading the goats at full transparency. Trust factor is of more important. If the customer is residing in some native the biggest challenge is to convince him that we are genuine because due to frauds happening nowadays people are afraid to purchase goats from places which are far from their location
Share your best experience in trading Goats.
Best thing about being a goat trader for me is that i don’t have to be tensed for the goat i have purchased for reselling as already we purchase goats at the base rate. Best experience is several times i have kept the goats pic on status and within a minute it got sold.
Your future plans
In future inshallah i will be setting up a goat farm from where i can sell goats at the minimum rates possible, and maybe will have a breeding setup of Sirohi/Gujri and Sojat breed.
