JD Goat Farm started in a small village called Taloli located on the outskirts of Mumbai in Bhiwandi. Established in 2016 as Fatima Goat Farm and later renamed and relocated in 2017, JD Goat Farm has become world's leading Goat Farm in terms of number of Goats kept for lodging and boarding by customers spread across different continents. JD Goat Farm is owned by Imran Shaikh and is run by him and his team comprising of Aamir Mirza, Jameel, Moosa, Shakil and Arafat.

JD Goat Farm charges a monthly fee of Rs. 3500 for keeping a non-castrated goat at their farm in addition to a one time annual vaccination charge of Rs. 1000. While the cost of keeping a non castrated goat is Rs. 3500, castrated goats are kept at a much lower cost of Rs. 3000 per month (plus 1k annual vaccination fee). This disparity in lodging and boarding fee for castrated (khassi) and non-castrated (Andul) goat is because Andul Goats require a larger area, a special cell to be constructed due to their destructive and aggressive nature.
